RED SOX + HALLOWEEN - WORK = GOOD TIMES

the red sox won! i am not surprised, but very disappointed that i was not in boston when it happened. i console myself with the (fairly accurate) knowledge that their win in '04 was much more exciting; this one was almost too easy. still, good for them.

p.s. jordan's furniture promised free purchases for people if the red sox won -- read about it because it's pretty awesome. i kind of wish i'd bought a couch or something.

silver lake had a halloween carnival tonight -- it was mostly for kids, but joe and i each paid a dollar to walk through a haunted house that was actually a little creepy. there was a guy dressed as a pig, hacking away at what looked to be humans with a cleaver in the kitchen. not bad for a buck. we got thai afterward and have wasted time since.

i bought shades for our bedroom today, and paint over the weekend -- hopefully everything will be able to be done all at once over this coming weekend, especially now that baseball isn't sucking up all of my free time. i'll really try to take some pictures.

for now, sleepy time.
